Summary of Position and Responsibilities:

As Senior Finance Officer the key responsibilities of this position are to maintain financial control of the day-to-day operations within the organization, supporting operational department; as well as maintaining and updating accounting procedures and delegations, preparing monthly reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements.

The successful candidate is mission-driven, proactive, highly organized, and maintains excellent knowledge and experience in a NGO financial environment. Have well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills in accounting and financial management information systems, have well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively as a team member. You will also need to demonstrate you either have or show substantial progress towards a relevant tertiary qualification.


  1. Monitoring data entry for donors name, budget sources, budget codes on daily basis;
  2. Monthly submitted summary budget expenditure to the directors and program managers on monthly basis;
  3. Prepare financial statement to board of supervise twice a year;
  4. Prepare financial report to donors, based on the contract’s period;
  5. Setup invoice for donor installment or related with the vendors;
  6. Handle and manage all GL transactions in the Quickbooks for Donor Name/Budget Source/Budget Code/Chart of Account;
  7. Monitor budget cashflow projection to related donors;
  8. Input Bank Bank Reconciliation Payroll (IDR), Bank USD, Bank IDR on the first week on the next month period;
  9. Liaise with auditor and/or donors to ensure the finances are compliance and meet recommendation, on technical matter;
  10. Working together with management level in preparing proposal and report for Donors;
  11. Compliance to organization regulation, SOP and government regulation;
  12. Manage individual operations request form, such as TR, TER, BR, PR, ER; and also attendance and leave request in HRIS, such as leave, overtime, TOIL;
  13. Other assigned duties for the benefit of the organizations as per supervisor’s request.



Experience and Skills Required

Essential Qualifications:

  • Indonesian national and preferably domicile in Bali.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, major in accounting.
  • Minimum 4-year of combined work experience in Finance or Accounting with at least two years in a managerial role.
  • Working experience with an INGO is desirable.
  • Experiences NGO or Indonesian foundation preferred.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with government agencies.
  • Detail oriented and able to work with large data.
  • Excellent English both spoken and written.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks Accounting Software (including set up and modify company database).
  • Understand tax in Indonesia (PPh 21, PPh 23, 4 ayat 2, PPN).
  • Excellent computer skill especially Microsoft excel or access.
  • Willing to frequently travel to implementing areas in Indonesia or abroad and willing to work overtime when needed.
